Common questions
WordPress, or something custom?
Whichever fits. If you already have a WordPress site and a team comfortable with it, I will work in WordPress. For most new builds I reach for Astro or a similar static‑site framework — faster, more secure, easier to host.
Who hosts it?
Your call. I can deploy to your existing hosting, set up something new on Cloudflare/Railway/Netlify, or run it on my own infrastructure. Hosting cost stays separate from my fee and goes in your name.
Can I edit the site myself?
Yes. Every site ships with either a CMS or a clearly documented content file, so non‑developer staff can update copy, prices and images.
Do you do design too, or do I need to bring a designer?
I do both. If you want a separate designer involved I work with their files. If not, I design and develop together — most small‑business sites are better off with one person doing both.
What about SEO?
Technical on‑page SEO is part of every build: clean HTML, proper headings, structured data, sitemap and Search Console submission. Ongoing keyword work and content strategy is separate — happy to recommend specialists if you need that.
